BOWLING GREEN - Ten Bowling Green State University employees will be laid off in the latest round of budget cuts, the university announced Monday.

The cuts are being made in residence life, dining services and the University Bookstore.

Affected employees have the right to "bump" others with less seniority in the same job classification, meaning other parts of the university also could be impacted, according to a letter to faculty and staff from BGSU President Carol Cartwright.

The layoffs are expected to save BGSU about $180,000 a year, Ms. Cartwright said.
