The Toledo Board of Education chose eight semi-finalists Monday night to interview for the top job in the school district.

But in its news release late Monday night, TPS mis-stated several of the candidate's home districts and their job titles. Here is the updated list with corrected information:

•Jerome Pecko, former superintendent with Springfield Local Schools in Akron.

•Walter Calinger, superintendent of the Woodland Hills School District in Pittsburgh.

•Keith Bell, the brother of Mayor Mike Bell. He's a principal at a Westerville City Schools high school in Westerville, Ohio, about 40 miles north of Columbus.

•Deborah Piotrowski, superintendent at Millcreek-West Unity Local School District in Williams County.

•Yvonne Bullock, superintendent of the Meridian Schools district in Mounds, Ill.

•Richard Drury, former superintendent of Community Unit School District 200 in Wheaton, Ill.

•Eric Ely, superintendent of Schenectady City Schools in New York.

•Deborah Hunter-Harvill, former superintendent of the Westwood Heights School District in Genesee County, Mich. The county is home to Flint, Mich.
