Petition set up to revisit Springfield mascot

A Holland woman who wants Springfield Local Schools to change its mascot has started an online petition drive to gain support.

Julie Elrod wants the Blue Devils replaced with something neutral. She took her idea to the Board of Education and was told to start a petition drive that would show the board how much support exists for the change.
