Lake Local’s campaign for Aug. 2 levy starts

Lake Local Schools this week kicked off its campaign for its Aug. 2 levy.

The school district is asking for a continuing 4.75-mill levy for operating expenses, which would raise more than $1.1 million a year. If passed, the owner of a $100,000 house would pay about $145 a year.
