Monroe Middle School seventh graders Rylee Meyer and Nate Goldsmith demonstrate how to use multifunction calculators to Barb Liparoto, left, and Peg Morrison.

Mrs. Liparoto and Mrs. Morrison are members of the Monroe High School class of 1956, which donated money to the district to purchase about 150 of the calculators. The class of 1956 held its reunion recently,drawing about 100 classmates and guests.

'We're real happy that the money has come back here to help the children in our school,' Mrs. Liparoto said.
