Second graders at Fort Meigs Elementary recently studied inventors and discussed inventive thinking as part of their science curriculum. The students then created their own inventions and hosted the Invention Convention, during which students presented and explained their projects.

     


    Nolan Schaefer, front, stops by the robot table as Juliana Villani, Annika Ramirez, and Kate McClellan present their projects. Juliana created a robot that does dishes, laundry, and other household chores, while Annika and Kate created robots that help recycle.
