Elementary principal hired by Fremont board
6/22/2012FREMONT - The Fremont city school board has hired a local teacher as principal of Washington Elementary School.
Bridget Smith, a teacher in the district since 2002, was awarded a one-year contract at an annual salary of $73,100. Most recently a third-grade teacher at Hayes Elementary, she replaces Duane Arnold, who resigned.
