New Bowling Green superintendent names 3 to top posts

Bowling Green City Schools chose veteran administrators for three positions in the first big hires by new Superintendent Ann McVey.

Todd Cramer is to be paid $104,000 a year as executive director of teaching and learning. James Lang is to be paid $78,000 as Conneaut Elementary principal, and Gary “Joe” Morgan is to be paid $63,000 as Ridge Elementary’s interim principal for one year, Mrs. McVey said.

Mr. Cramer was a Springfield Local Schools assistant principal. Mr. Lang had been a longtime Toledo Public Schools employee; Mr. Morgan had been principal at Eastwood Local Schools’ Luckey Elementary, Mrs. McVey said.

More than 100 applied for the jobs after three employees retired.
