UT accreditation is continued

A review board has approved the continued accreditation of the University of Toledo, university officials have announced.

The university received an official letter from the Higher Learning Commission confirming the university's continued accreditation, university president, Dr. Lloyd Jacobs, reported Thursday.

The Chicago-based commission visited the school in late February to do its evaluation, which it bases on various criteria, including transfer policies, credits, program lengths, and tuition policies.
