5K walk/run slated through Ottawa Hills village

A 5K Back-to-School Walk/Run is to begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at Ottawa Hills High School, 2532 Evergreen Rd.

The race course will begin and end at the school's track and will also take participants through the village of Ottawa Hills.

The course is measured by the Toledo Road Runners organization. Registration begins the day of the race at 8:30 a.m.

Registration forms are available at ohschools.k12.oh.us. Registration is $20 the day of the race. Checks should be payable to OH Back to School 5k.

Awards will be given to the top three runners in multiple age categories, and all proceeds will benefit the Ottawa Hills "After Prom" event.
