Maumee alumni to honor 3 graduates

The Maumee High School Alumni Association has named three alumni to be recognized during the 2012 Distinguished Alumnus Awards Ceremony on Sept. 14, officials said.

The honorees are Reginald S. Jackson, Jr., class of 1964, George L. Chapman, class of 1965, and DeAnna (Burke) Emborski, class of 1989.

They are to be recognized in Maumee High School's performing arts center during a 4:45 p.m. buffet dinner and an awards presentation. Later that night, they are to be honored during half-time of the Maumee vs. Bowling Green football game.

Mr. Chapman, chief executive officer of Health Care REIT Inc., has served on community boards such as the University of Toledo and the Toledo Museum of Art. Ms. Emborski is a domestic violence advocate. Mr. Jackson is a lawyer and a founding partner of Connelly, Jackson & Collier LLP.
