Eastwood schools to hold auction

Eastwood Local Schools will hold an auction of surplus items such as desks, tables, chairs, and televisions at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 in Webster Elementary, which is used for storage.

In other news, students from Penta Career Center’s construction remodeling class have started the framing to hold the poured concrete base for the two press boxes that will service the baseball and baseball diamond, Superintendent Brent Welker reports. Final prints for the new soccer building are done and permits are being pulled. Work is expected to begin this week on the foundation for that building.

Mr. Welker said the district is looking for two bus drivers because of resignations. Anyone interested in applying for one of these positions should contact the transportation office at 419-833-1493.
