Teacher of the month: Wen Chin Liu

Wen Chin is a talented teacher who provides opportunities for the students to explore and develop their musical talents. She is dedicated to her call to work with young women and volunteers copious hours to provide her students the best education at St. Ursula Academy. She plays the piano, works with the students for the musical, and helps to organize concerts.

Wen Chin is an amazing choir leader who has great expectations for her students. She submitted a recording of the choir to a committee at Carnegie Hall, resulting in a formal recognition and invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in March of 2013. She is dedicated to producing the best performance and she has been working with the students on weekends and evenings so their voices will be as trained as possible for this prestigious performance.

“Wen Chin is an incredibly talented teacher who is dedicated to providing authentic experiences for her students so that they may fully develop their God-given talents,” said Nichole Flores, principal. “Her warmth and creativity continually inspire the young women she teaches.”

Ms. Liu is a graduate of University College Sedaya International School of Music (Kuala Lumpor, Malaysia), with a bachelor of music (Honors) classical degree.
