ARCHBOLD, Ohio — Trustees at Northwest State Community College have unanimously extended the contract of President Thomas Stuckey through 2016.

The contract continues Mr. Stuckey’s $129,000-a-year salary. “The board’s evaluation concluded that Dr. Stuckey’s leadership has helped NSCC carry out its mission of improving lives and strengthening communities,” Robert Hall, chairman of the board said in a statement.

Also this week, trustees raised tuition for spring semester by 2.8 percent in response to a larger than expected drop in enrollment and continued budget adjustments from the state. Tuition will increase from $142 per credit hour to $146 per credit hour.
