Xiaotong Li, left, and Aaron Kirgesner, seniors at the University of Toledo, explain their 'Device to Assist Individuals in Dressing Themselves,' at left, to engineering professor Lesley Berhan. The device was suggested by retired engineering professor Ken Wolfe after a request from a fellow resident at Kingston Retirement Home. Clips from the 3.75 pound voice-activated device attach to a clothing item, then can lift or lower the item to the person's waist. Also on the design team were Mitch Cramer and Adam Stevens. It was all part of the one day Undergraduate Research and Senior Design Engineering Project Exposition on Friday at the UT College of Engineering.
