Oregon school board accepts gifts, renews memberships

The board of education has renewed its agreement with the Ohio School Boards Association for Web-based policy service for $1,500 a year.

At its regular meeting last week, the board also renewed the district’s membership in the Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce for $375 a year.

In other action, the board accepted a $1,000 donation from Lester Meyer of Riverside Tool and Automation for use by Clay High School’s integrated machining and engineering program and a gift from Kay Wiedmann of reptile tanks, supplies, and seven bearded dragons, worth about $700, for the high school’s agriculture class.
