Daddy-daughter dance for valentines to be Feb. 2

The 18th annual Daddy Daughter Valentine Dance will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 2 in the high school gym. Girls in Bedford Schools from kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to attend, escorted by their father, grandfather, or uncle. The event is semiformal, so girls are reminded to dress their best. The cost is $12 per person.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Each girl will receive a corsage and specially made necklace at check-in. Tickets must be purchased in person by 4 p.m. Friday at the Bedford Community Education office, 1623 W. Sterns Rd. On Wednesday only, tickets can be purchased at the office from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The event is off-limits to unregistered guests, including mothers, brothers, and younger siblings.
