DeVries, Kreps begin Monroe County Community College board terms
2/4/2013MONROE — James DeVries and Majorie Kreps have begun six-year terms on the board of trustees at Monroe County Community College.
Mr. DeVries, who is a retired professor, and Ms. Kreps were adminstered the oath of office last week by Monroe County Circuit Judge Michael Weipert.
Mr. DeVries taught history for 40 years at the community college and is serving his first term on the board, replacing Michael Meyer, who failed to win his fourth term in the November election.
Ms. Kreps retained her post on the board by winning re-election.
They join William Bacarella, Joe Bellino, Jr., William Braunlich, Linda Lauer, and Mary Kay Thayer.
