TPS-hired consultants to hear public concerns

A private consulting firm hired to conduct a performance audit of Toledo Public Schools will hold a public hearing today.

Evergreen Solutions was hired by TPS in December to conduct a comprehensive audit, which could reveal cost savings and efficiencies for the financially strapped district. The firm is in the midst of the audit, and the hearing is a chance for community members to voice concerns and share ideas.

The hearing will be held between 4:30 and 7 p.m. in the board room of the Thurgood Marshall Building, 420 E. Manhattan Blvd.
