The Ohio Board of Education on Tuesday directed the Ohio Department of Education to release full state report cards.

The state delayed the release during an investigation by State Auditor David Yost into possible attendance data manipulation. The department released partial report cards, and awaited the investigation’s completion for the final release.

On Monday Mr. Yost’s report found Toledo Public Schools and eight other districts improperly report attendance data.

The report cards will be out by the end of February and districts that provide inaccurate information will have “watermarks” on their report cards, a spokesman said.
