BGSU, faculty union announce tentative agreement

BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University administrators and the university’s faculty union have reached a tentative agreement on the union’s first contract, officials announced today.

Details of the agreement are being finalized and must be ratified by the union’s membership and approved by the university’s Board of Trustees, according to a news release issued by the university.

The Faculty Association is expected to take the agreement to its membership in early April. The Board of Trustees will likely hold a special meeting to vote on the agreement. The next regular board meeting is May 3.
