Monroe building sports new entrance

The Monroe Public Schools Administration Building has a new main entrance. The public must use the front doors of the building facing North Macomb Street to enter or leave the building.

A handicapped-accessible ramp recently was added to this entrance. The side doors facing the parking lot, which have been used as the main entrance for the last decade, are now locked all day. The changes are security upgrades. Previously, the receptionist was unable to see people entering the building.
