MONROE — Every classroom in Monroe Public Schools will get a permanently mounted projector as part of the $1.5 million in technology upgrades the school board OK’d this summer.

The upgrades also will improve wireless Internet connectivity and data storage and capacity, said David Payne, district technology director.

Improvements include the addition of 35 desktop and laptop computers and 400 computers connected to hubs providing the same programs to each, making it easier and less expensive to download new programs.
