Plant-lecture series held at Lourdes University

S.A.V.E. group will host presentation on Tuesday night

The Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment, or S.A.V.E. will host a lecture that teaches guests about hydroponic methods to grow plants.

The S.A.V.E. group will host the presentation Alternate Growing Practices: Hydroponic and Season Extension from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Franciscan Theatre of Lourdes University, 6832 Convent Blvd.

The free lecture is presented by Rebecca Singer, vice president and director of agricultural programs at the Center for Innovative Food Technology located in Toledo.
