Erik Graham is viewed by his colleagues as an innovative, experimental teacher. Outside the classroom he is a terrific adviser, outstanding colleague and collaborator, and a hard working contributor to the school community.

In recent years, Erik has co-chaired the Learning Leadership Team, a cohort of innovative teacher leaders. He serves on numerous committees, such as the Curriculum Committee, and Schedule Redesign Committee. He was recently awarded a grant to study the Jewish experience during WW II. This summer, he will travel to Europe for a month to visit ghettos, concentration camps, and significant historical sites.

“Erik’s colleagues recognize him as innovative, creative, and passionate,” said Gareth Griffith, head of Upper School. “He makes history relevant, and he works hard to engage each of his students.”

Erik holds a B.A. in History/English from Gonzaga University, and an M.A. in Social Studies Curriculum and Instruction from Fordham University.
