The University of Toledo‘s Carlson Library is closed today because of a flooded basement.

University officials said the flooding was found on Saturday afternoon and that crews worked through the weekend to clean and disinfect the affected areas. This is the second time the library has flooded this year. Sewer pumps failed in April, closing the library during the final week of classes for the spring semester. This weekend‘‍s flooding was caused by failed temporary pumps which were put in place while a permanent solution was finalized.

The university‘s Learning Enhancement Center is closed today, and TRIO program staff will see students in the Office of Multicultural Student Services in the Student Union.
