The University of Toledo’s Carlson Library will reopen today after flooding forced its Monday closure.

University officials found the flooding Saturday afternoon. Crews worked through the weekend to clean and disinfect the affected areas. This is the second time the library has flooded this year. Sewer pumps failed in April, closing the library during the final week of spring semester. The recent flooding was caused by failed temporary pumps, which were put in place while a permanent solution was finalized.
