Maumee Schools job fair seeks substitutes

Maumee Schools is holding a job fair Jan. 25, to fill substitute positions.

Walk-in interviews will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Positions include: classroom assistant, buildings & grounds, food service, clerical, clerk librarian, school bus monitor, playground monitor, and school bus driver. Hourly wages range from $9.01 to $16.34. A high school diploma is required.

Substitute teachers are also wanted. Candidates must have a four-year college degree and a valid Ohio teaching or substitute teaching license. Daily pay is $95.

Candidates for all substitute positions must pass a criminal background check, which carries a $46 fee, and should bring a professional reference letter.

The job fair will be held at Maumee Schools Administration Office Building, 716 Askin St.
