Ohio gas prices remain about $1 above 2010 average
6/13/2011COLUMBUS, Ohio — Gas prices in Ohio have dipped but are still about a dollar higher than the prices at the pump at this time last year.
A survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express says the statewide average price is $3.66 for a gallon of regular-grade gasoline. That’s down 22 cents from the average reported last Monday as refinery problems led to higher fuel prices in the Midwest.
A year ago, the average was about a dollar less at $2.65.
Oil prices sank late last week following reports that the world’s biggest oil exporter, Saudi Arabia, plans to boost production to its highest levels in decades.
