A commissioning ceremony is planned by Oregon City Schools at 1:30 p.m. April 27 for a 283-foot wind turbine at Clay High School. The event is closed to the public.

Two smaller turbines are at Eisenhower Middle School. Officials project a $2 million to $4 million savings in utility bills over their 25-year life span.
