Ohio OKs electric utility to market natural gas
6/12/2012COLUMBUS — The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has certified BlueStar Energy Solutions, an affiliate of American Electric Power, to sell natural-gas contracts across the state.
BlueStar will act as an alternative to utilities such as Columbia Gas of Ohio. Pat Hemlepp, an AEP spokesman, said BlueStar probably will begin selling gas in the next few months.
