Sandusky County signs power-supply contract

FREMONT -- Sandusky County Commissioners Thursday signed a 20-month pact for Dayton Power and Light to supply electricity to 14 county buildings.

The deal, which involves joining a pool of county and municipal governments to buy power, is expected to save Sandusky County $6,500 a month over what it pays to American Electric Power.
