BP Husky will seek EPA OK to reduce emissions at Dec. 12 meeting

A public hearing will be held Dec. 12 to discuss the BP Husky Toledo refinery’s request to modify its air pollution permit to voluntarily reduce its sulfur dioxide emission limits on several heaters and other emission units.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and Toledo Division of Environmental Services will hold the meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Erie Center, 6200 Bayshore Rd. in Oregon.

The refinery is owned by BP Husky Refining LLC.
