Power restored for all Toledo Edison customers in Wood County
1/9/2014Power has been restored for all Toledo Edison customers in Wood County after 11,000 were without for about an hour, starting at 3 p.m.
The outage was caused when a 138,000-volt transmission line stopped working. Toledo Edison still has not found exactly what the problem is, but was able to switch the feed for most customers.
Initially, Toledo Edison said the outage affected 6,300 customers in Perrysburg, 3,000 in Perrysburg Township, 820 Middleton Township, 600 in Troy Township, 200 in Webster Township, 110 in Lake Township, 50 in Bowling Green, and 50 in Center Township.
