What: Toledo's Taste of the Nation.

When: 5-9 p.m. Sunday.

Where: Mancy's Italian, 5453 Monroe St.

Why: The Toledo food and wine event has raised more than $278,000 to benefit local hunger relief agencies since 1996. This year proceeds benefit Aurora Project, Mobile Meals of Toledo, Toledo Day Nursery, Toledo GROWs, and Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank.

Who: Many of Toledo's finest chefs and restaurateurs, as well as nationally known chefs will offer tastings of foods.

Cost: $100 per person. VIP tickets for $150 admit holders to a private reception area at the event. Tickets: call 419-842-3306.
