Dinner Tonight: Grape Salad

8/7/2012

They call it a salad -- at least Su Johnson, who submitted this recipe, calls it a salad -- but you could also think of it more as a dessert. It's great for summer because it features two different colors of grapes. It also features sour cream, cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar, and toasted pecans. If this is a salad, it isn't the kind that will help you lose weight.

4 pounds seedless grapes, two different colors

1 cup sour cream

8 ounces cream cheese

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Mix the sour cream, cream cheese, and white sugar until smooth. Add grapes. Mix the toasted pecans and brown sugar together. Sprinkle over grape mixture.
