Everyone loves spareribs, but no one likes cleaning up after cooking them. Right? Dolores Cassin has a solution she enthusiastically calls "soo easy" that makes use of store-bought barbecue sauce and plastic oven bags. Sounds soo easy to us.
Spareribs in Cooking Bag
1 large (14-by-20-inch) oven-cooking bag
¼ cup flour
1½ cups barbecue sauce
½ cup chopped onions
½ cup chopped green pepper
3½ pounds (or more) spareribs, cut in smaller pieces
Preheat oven to 325e_SDgr. Put the flour in the bag and shake it. Place bag in a 13-by-9-inch baking pan, and add barbecue sauce, onions, and green pepper. Blend the ingredients together by squeezing the bag. Add ribs, and close with a twist-tie. Make six ½-inch slits in the top of the bag. Bake 1½ hours. Serve with baked potato and salad.
