Whitehouse to host doughnut-eating contest

Whitehouse village will hold its annual doughnut eating contest at the weekly farmers’ market downtown at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Competitors will be divided into three age groups, and the person to finish his doughnuts first in the allotted three minutes will be declared the winner.

Children aged 6 and under will eat one doughnut, aged seven to 12 two doughnuts, and competitors 14 and up four doughnuts.

The youngest age category will go first.

Registration forms are available at whitehouseoh.gov, the Village Hall, Cherry Tree Bakery, or by calling 419-877-5383. Contestants must register in advance so the correct number of doughnuts can be ordered.

Each age group will be limited to 10 contestants.

Winners will have their photo in the village’‍s fall newsletter and receive a bag of treats.
