Way Public Library’s “Show me the Movie” series continues with Prince Avalanche at 2 p.m. Tuesday. It is about two men spending the summer painting traffic lines on a desolate Texas road and how they learned despite their contrasting lives, ages, and opinions they aren’t all that different. It stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch. There are no reservations required, admission and refreshments are free, but the R-rated film is for adults only.

The library is also having a free garden-planning program Thursday at 2 p.m. Participants will learn techniques to create a garden in a small space with less work and higher yield than a traditional garden. Gardeners Judy DePeal and Judi Josephson will give the presentation and talk about specific growing conditions in the area.
