Mark calendars for June 21 tours

Two splendid garden tours, both fund-raisers for worthy causes, will be June 21.

Featuring gardens in Maumee, the Toledo Day Nursery tour will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Tickets, $15 at many locations, support the nursery which provides care for babies and preschoolers. Information 419-243-2627 and toledodaynursery.org.

A new tour of gardens in the soil-rich Oregon-Jerusalem Township community includes 10 gardens, four with ponds, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 on June 21. Proceeds support the community‘‍s historical society. Rain date is June 28. A driving tour, it begins at Brandville School and Museum Complex, 1133 Grasser St., Oregon. Information: 419-698-1045.

A series of tours led by horticulturists and lasting 90 minutes begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Toledo Zoo’‍s conservatory on June 18, July 16, Aug. 20, and Sept. 17. Tours are included in the price of admission. Information: 419-385-5721.
