This summer's Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic is expected to draw a field that includes most of the top players in the LPGA.

Tournament organizers said this week that 22 of the current top 25 money leaders are intending to play in the 26th annual event, to be held July 1-4 at Highland Meadows. Various activities are scheduled for the three days preceding Thursday's first round.

Those expecting to enter the $1 million-purse tournament include: Paula Creamer, Lorena Ochoa, Morgan Pressel, Cristie Kerr, Natalie Gulbis, Juli Inkster, Suzanne Petterson and Se Ri Pak.

Tournament proceeds will be distributed to 11 northwest Ohio children's charities. Tickets can be purchased at www.jamiefarrowenscorning.com or by calling 419-531-3277. The tournament has donated over $6.5M to local children's charities over the last 25 years.
