2014 Marathon Classic set for July 14-20
9/11/2013The Marathon Classic Presented by Owens Corning & O-I announced today that next year’s tournament will be held July 14-20, 2014 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania. The Golf Channel will provide live coverage from 3– 5 p.m. of all four rounds of the tournament.
The tournament also announced that this year’s 2013 Marathon Classic produced the fourth highest final round viewership for an LPGA event over the past five years.
“We were absolutely thrilled with the viewership ratings for this year’s tournament,” said Judd Silverman, tournament director.
“The four days of live coverage on The Golf Channel provided tremendous domestic and global exposure for northwest Ohio and our sponsors.”
Beatriz Recari of Spain will return to defend her title.
