SLL roundup: Port Clinton holds off Woodmore rally

ELMORE - Visiting Port Clinton outscored Woodmore 18-7 in the second quarter and held off a late rally to post a 65-55 victory.

Teammates Jimmy Baumer, Geoff Dartt and Ralph McRitchie scored all 18 second-quarter points for the Redskins, and each finished in double figures.

Dartt had 14 points while Baumer and McRitchie each had 10 for Port Clinton. Drew Engler led Port Clinton with 16 points.

Scott Bergman scored all of his game-high 19 points in the second half to lead Woodmore.

OLD FORT - The Stockaders outscored the visitors 39-17 in the second half.

Randy Schlosser scored all of his game-high 16 points in the second half to lead Old Fort, while Lucas Stearns added 12 for the winners.

Matt Graber topped the Raiders with 10 points.

LAKESIDE - Derek Ensign scored 22 points and nabbed nine rebounds and Mike Chura added 21 points for Danbury.

The taller Lakers outrebounded the Golden Bears 31-19.

Dustin Arndt tallied 16 for Gibsonburg and Nick Walby added 13.

GENOA - Trent Parman led all scorers with 18 points as Oak Harbor outscored Genoa 15-5 in the final quarter.

The Rockets' defense held the Comets scoreless over the first three minutes of the fourth quarter.

Matt Benefield topped Genoa with 12 points.
