TAAC: Cardinal Stritch prevails

NORTH BALTIMORE - Cardinal Stritch shot a miserable 25 per cent from the field and trailed by two entering the final quarter, but put together a late 10-2 spurt to escape with a 46-42 victory last night over North Baltimore.

The Cardinals outscored the Tigers 17-11 in the fourth quarter at the foul line.

Cardinal Stritch made just 15 of 61 attempts from the field and converted just 14 of 25 from the free throw line.

Rudy Santabinez and Aaron Mochon each scored 11 points for Cardinal Stritch (1-1).

Troy Perez paced North Baltimore with 16 points.

MAUMEE VALLEY 64, GREENHILLS 44

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -Sophmore guard Josh Radtkin scored 23 points to pace Maumee Valley (1-0).

Teammate Tyler Boehm, a senior guard, played a solid all-around game for the Hawks, netting 12 points and adding 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 10 steals.
