Ray Thomas poured in 24 points, Steve Kyser added 19 and Nate Smith had 16 for visiting Southview (7-0, 4-0).
Brad Wimmer paced Anthony Wayne (4-2, 2-2) with 15 points. Jeff Telmanik had 12 and Josh Bowers 10.
The Cougars scored 26 points at the free-throw line, compared to the Generals' 17.
Maumee cut the lead to three points (49-46) with eight seconds remaining before Northview's Matt Harsh made two foul shots to clinch the victory.
Harsh led Northview (4-2, 3-1) with 18 points, while Josh Doane tossed in 17.
Adam Russell scored 12 points and Josh Arthur 10 for Maumee (2-4, 0-4).
