Burgin leads St. Ursula over Bowsher

Ashley Burgin scored 23 points and blocked nine shots to lead St. Ursula to a 68-56 City League victory over Bowsher last night.

Kate Lohner added 13 points and Gena Blosser and Bri Smith had 10 apiece for St. Ursula (7-5, 3-3).

Jazlyn Davis led Bowsher (8-5, 3-3) with 25 points and Lamesha Johnson added 12.

The one-two punch of Mattie Mays (24 points) and Krystle Sudduth (19) paced Scott (10-2, 5-1 City League).

Markeiska Hudgins led Woodward (6-7, 1-5) with 15, Brittany Stenson had 11 and Taneka Jones 10.

Waite had only five field goals and went 15 of 35 from the foul line. Rogers hit 3 of 13.

Olivia Griswold and Shaboo DeBault each scored 12 for Rogers. Gennett McCarver scored 14 for Waite.

Northview led 27-8 by halftime and canned 26 of 34 foul shots to Southview's 5 of 7.

Nikki Smith led Northview (10-1, 7-0) with 17 and Julia Dempster added 16.

Stephanie Kneisley led Southview with 12.

Laura Markwood scored 28 points and the Jackets pulled away with a 21-5 third quarter.

Sara Hughes added 12 for Perrysburg (11-2, 7-1 NLL).

Liz Chibucos scored 15 for Bowling Green.

Reva Kerkulah scored 27 points, including the winning basket from 10 feet with 4.8 seconds left. Katie Greisiger added 13 for Maumee (8-5, 4-4 NLL). Leslie Everhart led Anthony Wayne (7-6, 5-3) with 23.

Springfield jumped to a 16-5 lead after one quarter, and Alex Bird led the Blue Devils (4-7, 3-5 NLL) with 17 points, Sarah Carsyensen had 14 and Michelle Trumbull 13.

Rossford (1-11, 0-7) got 16 from Chassidy Tooson.

Kristin Crawford scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for unbeaten Clay.

Kate Achter added 19 and Diana Wasserman 11 for the Eagles (12-0, 6-0 GLL).

Fremont Ross (4-8, 2-4) got 16 from Kristen Hammer, 14 from Stacy Hall and 10 from Rachel Hammer.

FINDLAY - Leah Miller had 17 points and Findlay outscored Whitmer 20-8 in the second quarter.

Bridget Buss led Whitmer with 25 points.

MILLBURY - Eastwood (9-4, 7-1 SLL) placed four in double figures - Whitney Hartman 17, Michelle Oberdick 14, Emily Skibicki 13, Jessica Schult 12.

Kelly McPherson led Lake (3-10, 2-6) with 16 and Megan Jacks added 10.

ELMORE - Megan Abbey scored 21 points and Megan Greenley added 10 as Woodmore got by Otsego. Jennie McVey led Otsego with 13 and Stephanie Asmus added 10.

GENOA - Mallory Fleming had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Jenni Crispen 13 points for Gibsonburg (8-4, 5-3 SLL).

Keri Williams scored 16, Nicole Nissen 14 and Courtney Nissen 10 for Genoa (4-7, 2-6).

LAKESIDE - Lauren Kruse scored 19 points for Ottawa Hills (7-4, 5-1 TAAC). Julie Lorkowski added 16 and Sidney Sterling 12.

Kim Zura totaled 16 points for Danbury (3-9, 1-5).

Stacy Ziegler scored 22 and Kelly Parrish 19 for Northwood.

Shanna Elston led Emmanuel Baptist with 14.

WAUSEON - Sara Roth scored 22 points and the Indians canned 26 of 32 foul shots to Liberty Center's 13 of 22. Kelly Stechschulte added 14 for Wauseon (12-1, 5-0 NWOAL).

Katie McClure had 15 for Liberty Center (7-6, 2-3).

SWANTON - Archbold outrebounded Swanton 46-26, and Sarah Grime had 14 points, Betsy Stotzer 11 and Amy Wanemacher and Katie Kruger 10 each. Jennifer Keesey scored 26 for Swanton and Chelsea White added 10.
