HERSHEY, Pa. - Breaking a three-year losing streak, high school football stars from Ohio beat their Pennsylvania counterparts 38-7 in the Big 33 Football Classic last night and a Toledoan had a lot to do with the outcome.

Ryne Robin-son of Central Catholic, who is bound for Miami (Ohio), scored two first-half touchdowns for the Ohio team.

The first score came when quarterback Ben Mauk of Kenton (Wake Forest) connected with Robinson on a 20-yard corner route.

James Addington of Findlay, another Miami recruit, kicked the extra point to give Ohio a 7-0 lead just 54 seconds into the game.

Ohio made it 14-0 on its next series when Mauk took a high snap, pulled it down and ran untouched 20 yards for another score.

The lead was increased to 21-0 when Mauk threw a 13-yard TD pass to Robinson in the second quarter.

Ohio scored for the fourth time when Justin Valentine punched in a short run from the 2. Addington converted his fourth straight extra point.

The lead was extended to 31-0 when Addington hit a 23-yard field goal at the 5:30 mark in the third quarter.

A 17-yard Pennsylvania touchdown run by Adam Bednarik with 4:48 to play ended Ohio's chance to post the first shutout in the series' 11-year history.

Pennsylvania scored after Ryan Mundy, who is headed for Michigan, returned a punt 68 yards to the Ohio 17. Bednarik scored on the next play on a quarterback draw. Jon Fowler added the extra point.

Ohio scored again with 38 seconds left in the game when Michael Daniels ran a draw 20 yards for the score.

The college-bound football stars were chosen for the all-star game by their respective high school football coaches associations.

Current NFL players who have played in the Big 33 contest include Kerry Collins, Kyle Brady, Orlando Pace, Ricky Watters, Antonio Freeman and Ed McCaffrey.

Pennsylvania and Ohio have met 11 times in the Big 33 Classic. Pennsylvania leads the series 6-5.
