Rowe leads Southview over Archbold

Kelley Rowe hit 10 of 19 passes for 244 yards and took part in three touchdowns to lead Southview to a 38-17 victory over visiting Archbold last night.

Rowe hit Michael Campbell on a 59-yard scoring strike and hooked up with Aaron Waldie for a 55-yard score.

Rowe also ran one yard for another TD.

Waldie also scored on a 56-yard fumble recovery return.

The other Southview scores came on a two-yard run by Eric Thompson and a 20-yard field goal by Kevin Lanning.

Campbell had six catches for 137 yards and Waldie three for 84.

The Cougars also gained 108 yards rushing.

Archbold preferred to travel overland as Phil Baden gained 158 yards on 26 carries, including a 12-yard TD run.

Casey Nofziger added a three-yard touchdown run and Mike Zimmerman kicked a 35-yard field goal.

Archbold rushed for 227 yards and passed for 33.

DAYTON - The Bulldogs opened up a 16-14 advantage in the fourth quarter before giving up the winning touchdown to Dunbar with just under two minutes remaining.

Scott pounded out 228 yards of total offense, paced by Anthony Glover's 85 rushing yards and Keith Pope's 75.

Glover also recorded a pair of touchdowns for Scott on runs of five and six yards.

The Bulldogs lost four fumbles on offense, but forced two Dunbar turnovers, with a fumble recovery and an interception.
