AREA: Oak Harbor edges Huron on late FG

HURON — Derek Feldhaus kicked a 24-yard field goal with 4:05 left in the game to lift Oak Harbor to a 22-21 victory over Huron on Friday night.

Huron took a 14-0 lead after Craig Nickoli scored on an 84-yard kickoff return to start the game and Marcus Rimboch caught a nine yard touchdown pass from Adam West.

The Rockets came back with TD runs of 10 and 7 yards by William Daniels but missed the second extra-point try to trail 14-13. Huron took a 21-13 lead on a 23-yard TD pass from West to Brian Foster. Daniels scored his third TD at the end of the third quarter to pull Oak Harbor to within 21-19, but the 2-point conversion run failed. The Rockets then prevailed on the Feldhaus field goal.

MASSILLON 34, FINDLAY 17

MASSILLON - Danny Baker hooked up with Brady Schneider on a 43-yard touchdown pass for the Trojans (2-2) in the first quarter and Mark Snodgrass booted a 24-yard field goal, but Massillon took off from its 14-10 halftime lead.

FREMONT ROSS 10

FREMONT - Jared Dickman rushed 19 times for 95 yards, T.J. George kicked a 24-yard field goal and Jake Kingsborough caught a 32-yard TD pass from Jarrid Marroquin for Ross, which had 220 yards compared to Benedictine's 439.

BELLEVUE 68, GALION 0

BELLEVUE - Greg Keys rushed eight times for 133 yards and three touchdowns for the Redmen, who gained 393 yards on the ground.

DEFIANCE 32, SHAWNEE 18

DEFIANCE - Robert Orta rushed 34 times for 255 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs, who had 376 yards on the ground.

ST. MARYS MEMORIAL 21,

ST. MARYS - Shawn Craft scored on touchdown runs of 42, 3 and 4 yards as St. Marys pitched the shutout despite the Titans' 167 yards passing. O-G had just 37 yards rushing.

TINORA 41, AYERSVILLE 0

AYERSVILLE - Kevin McCann rushed 25 times for 221 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Rams (1-0, 3-1), who gained 394 yards on the ground to the Pilots' 44.
