Davie s key FT lifts Northview

Ian Davie hit a key free throw with 1.5 seconds left to help Northview defeat visiting Anthony Wayne 59-56.

With the game tied at 56 last night, Anthony Wayne had the ball under its basket but was called for an offensive foul. Davie hit the first of two free throws to break the tie.

Anthony Wayne rebounded the second shot, but called a timeout that it didn t have. Cody Shoemaker made two free throws to pad the lead.

Shoemaker, Bryan Heidtman and J.G. Becker each had 15 points for Northview (9-7, 7-4). Joe McVicker scored 26 for the Generals (6-11, 5-7).

BOWLING GREEN - The Bobcats surged to a 57-35 lead after three quarters, then hung on as Rossford s Kevin Keller scored 15 of his 28 points in the fourth period as his Bulldogs erupted for 31.

Michael Graffin led Bowling Green (13-4, 8-3) with 22 points, Jimmy Green added 16 and Ryan Hoehner 15.

Jacob Smock had 13 for Rossford (6-11, 2-9).

Maumee held Springfield to just one point in the fourth quarter while scoring 19 of its own.

Jake Causer tallied 11 points for the Panthers (6-11, 4-7).

Dee Alexander and Fletcher Noble scored 10 each for the Blue Devils (4-10, 2-9).
